Favorite Thai Foods
Thai Omelet made on the street, it is delicious and costs 20 Baht or about 80 cents. It is served with chilies, onions, tomatoes, fish sauce and then fried and served on top of a mountain of sticky rice.
Fried Long Bean-a type of vegetable found in all of Thailand, it is like a green bean but much lighter in color and crunchier
Thai Omelet with dried shrimps and pork
Fried glass noddles with egg and chicken
Sticky Rice with Mango and Coconut Milk
Tom Yum Goong (a famous Thai dish, that is spicy and sour soup, usually served with prawns. Also many basil leaves and lemongrass our served in the soup)
Som Tam-also a famous Thai dish, It is unripened papaya shaved very thinly. Then the dressing consists of dried shrimp, tomatoes, fish sauce, and lots of thai chilies. The whole thing is smashed together in a larger version of a pestle and mortar
Green Curry Chicken-so spicy and so delicious. It has coconut milk in it as well for just a hint of sweetness.
